   Test Website Without Domain

Question 

I have been creating a new website on a QWK.net Shared Hosting Account and I need to test it before I point the domain to it. How can I do this? 

Answer 

All domains hosted on a QWK.net Shared Hosting account have an instant access domain alias. This allows you to view a website on the server without having the domain name itself pointed to us. To find the alias you will need your login credentials.

1. Go to customers.qwk.net, click on account management and log in.

2. Click on the Web Options icon.

3. Select the domain you wish to view the instant access alias for.

4. Scroll to the bottom and the alias will be in the 'instant access domain alias' row.

  • If the Off button is shown, click it and the instant access domain will immediately be set up.
